The top high school and collegiate step teams in the country showcased their incredible talent at the NCPA & NHSPA Step Championships in April, with Delaware State University and Monsignor Scanlan High School being crowned the respective college and high school step national champions.

Delaware State’s team, “iStep” (which stands for I Step Towards Exceptional Performance), won $5,000, with 20% of the winnings going to Graham Windham, a New York City nonprofit that provides educational and mental health support to children and families.  Tuft’s “Envy”, an all-female step team, and Tuft’s “Blackout”, an all-male step team took home second and third place behind Delaware State.

Monsignor Scanlan’s “Queen Crusaders” led the high school teams, winning a prize of $1,500, while Brentwood High School and New Rochelle High School came in second and third place.
