Stephan Hartman – Chief Executive Officer
Stephan Hartman has conceived, built and acquired sports and entertainment properties including, most recently, the U.S. Sports Film Festival. He worked on Wall Street in leadership positions in private equity, investment banking and law for Apollo Management, Houlihan Lokey and Lehman Brothers. Prior to that, as an attorney, his work included representing sports and entertainment talent and businesses. Stephan earned degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (B.A., Economics, B.S. Wharton), Villanova University (J.D.) and Northwestern University (M.B.A., Finance).
Victoria Duruh – Chief Talent Officer
Victoria Duruh is a renowned talent agent, casting director and producer in the fashion and modeling industry. As a former Senior Director at Elite Model Management, Victoria was responsible for scouting, booking, developing, casting, managing and publicizing premiere talent. She matched celebrities and athletes with top brand clients including Lancôme, L’Oreal USA, L’Uomo Vogue/Teen Vogue, Reebok, Sports Illustrated, Maybelline, Harper’s Bazaar and many others. She has produced countless premiere events, including fashion shows, film screenings, Oscars events and the U.S. Sports Film Festival. Victoria is a proud alumnus of Auburn University.
Peter F. May – Lead Counsel
Peter F. May is an internationally recognized attorney and general counsel with broad experience in the higher education and emerging companies’ sectors. He specializes in advising on collaborations and partnerships, business structures, labor and employment, complex contracts and intellectual property matters. Peter devotes significant time to nonprofit charitable service and has served as a board member for the National Association of College and University Attorneys, the Yale Arab Alumni Association, the Warrior Connection and the Downtown Brattleboro Alliance. He holds a B.A. from Yale and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
Jonathan Sternberg – General Counsel
Jonathan Sternberg is an attorney qualified in South Africa. Prior to moving abroad, he worked for one of South Africa’s leading sports management and marketing companies, where he focused on athlete management and tournament production, specifically in the sport of golf. He has worked for actors agencies in the film industry in Los Angeles, and in the corporate departments of law firms in London and New York, and in the general counsel’s office for corporations in New Jersey and New York. He assisted in the marketing and staging of three events for the United States Sports Film Festival. In recent years, he has been a stay-at-home dad. Jonathan currently lives in Eugene, Oregon, where he is assistant teaching in an upper-elementary class at his son’s school
Caitlin Eck – Director of Communications
Caitlin Eck is an integrated marketing, publicity and copywriting services professional. Before joining UpStaged, Caitlin specialized in comprehensive publicity campaigns for books, authors and publishers. She began her career at Penguin Group USA (now Penguin Random House) and most recently served as the Director of Publicity for Chicago Review Press and its parent company, Independent Publishers Group. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Richmond and an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University.
Debbie Ganz – Director of Talent Management
Debbie Ganz is a co-founder of Twins Talent Productions. She has over 25 years of experience in casting, logistics, production and content development for TV, film, digital platforms and live events. She is an expert in producing real people content. She has worked with all networks including: HGTV, FOX, Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV, CBS, ABC, Bravo and more, for all different programming including: Culinary, Performing Arts, Hospitality Forensics, Travel, Family, Lifestyle, Design, Relationship and Competition shows.
Moriah – Director of Social Media
Lorin Diehl – Director of Alumni Relations
Lorin is an integrated marketing, communications and development leader. He has developed, managed and implemented diverse customer, donor and partner-centric programs in both the for-profit and non-profit arenas. He has served consumer and business-to-business organizations in the corporate, agency, consulting and entrepreneurial sectors, including Revlon, Ketchum, Sperry & Hutchinson, Hearst, Kids R Us, Food for the Hungry, WGO and others. He holds a B.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology (Eisenhower College) and an M.B.A. from Fordham University.
